University of Missouri officials reported a slight increase of 1% to 31,121 students enrolled for the 2021-22 school year.
However, the freshman class is down 9% with 4,871 students enrolled compared with 5,380 freshman a year ago, according to the Columbia Missourian. In other categories, minority enrollment was flat and professional students in the schools of veterinary medicine, law and medicine were up 3%.
