Mt. Gox is back, but bitcoins still missing

Last month, a leading bitcoin exchange, Mt. Gox, went bankrupt. When it went dark, hundreds of millions of dollars worth of the virtual currency went missing.
 
CNNMoney is reporting  the online exchange is back online now, but the missing bitcoins didn’t resurface along with it.
 
The site isn’t allowing customers to make withdrawals from their accounts. Mt. Gox is encouraging customers to check their account balances, but cautions any amount listed isn’t acknowledgement from Mt. Gox that it owes the account holder anything.
