Missouri State University and University of Andres Bello representatives met today to sign a business school transfer agreement.
The agreement allows students who complete their undergraduate degree from Santiago, Chile-based UNAB with a commercial engineering license to transfer to Springfield to enroll in the college's Masters in Business Administration program within the College of Business, according to a news release.
MSU College of Business Dean Stephanie Bryant and UNAB Business School Dean Jorge Marshall Rivera signed the transfer agreement.
“Andres Bello is a great university and Missouri State looks forward to working with this university and its students,” said Steve Robinette, associate vice president for international programs at MSU, in the release. “This agreement is part of the larger emphasis for Missouri State to form more partnerships with universities in South America, to have more students from South America to attend classes in Springfield and to have more of our students study in South America.”
With more than 42,000 students, UNAB is the country's largest university. The private school has more than 70 undergraduate programs and 50 graduate programs, with more than 3,600 faculty members, the release said.
