MSU presents Technology Expo for educators

Posted online
Area educators are invited to attend the sixth annual Technology Expo to learn about the latest classroom technology.

The expo will be 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. March 7 on the third floor of Missouri State University’s Plaster Student Union. The event is presented by the Missouri State Educational Technology Center, in conjunction with the Regional Consortium for Education and Technology-Southwest.

Attendees can participate in several training sessions on incorporating technology into their curricula.

The expo could bring up to 700 participants.

RCET-SW members and MSU faculty and staff may attend the sessions at no charge; the cost for non-RCET-SW members to attend is $90. Admission includes lunch.

MSU faculty and staff can register at etc.missouristate.edu. All other educators can register at associations.missouristate.edu/rcet/index.htm.

Pre-conference sessions also will be available on March 6. While they’re intended for RCET-SW members, extra slots may be open.

To attend the pre-conference event, MSU faculty and staff should contact Mike Garton at mikegarton@missouristate.edu, and other educators should contact RCET-SW at (417) 523-5560.
