MSU, OTC sign transfer agreements

Posted online
Missouri State University and Ozarks Technical Community College officials yesterday signed four articulation agreements designed to allow OTC students to more easily complete a bachelor's degree online with MSU.

The agreements allow OTC students with an associate of arts degree to complete a bachelor's degree in finance, communication, general business or health services/clinical services at MSU. OTC students can transfer their credits for junior status at MSU, according to a news release.

"The online completion provides another chance for students to continue their education at an outstanding university while staying close to home and maintaining the flexible schedule they need," OTC Chancellor Hal Higdon said in the release.

The agreements mark the latest in a series between MSU and OTC. According to MissouriState.edu, more than 1,700 of MSU's current students transferred from OTC.
