MSU, OTC pen Web agreements

Posted online
Missouri State University and Ozarks Technical Community College have penned two agreements allowing OTC students to earn bachelor's degrees from MSU via Web-based classes.

Under the agreements, OTC students who have completed Associate of Arts degrees can complete a Bachelor of Science in criminology online at MSU, while OTC students with Associate of Applied Science degrees can earn Bachelor of Applied Science degrees in technology management, according to a news release.

“The opportunities presented by these new agreements will help many of our students to continue their education while staying close to home and maintaining the flexible schedule they need,” OTC Chancellor Hal Higdon said in the release.

The agreements are the latest of several between the two Springfield schools.

The agreements also allow transferring OTC students access to MSU financial aid, scholarships and student services.
