Missouri State University Lady Bears coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton was named the Missouri Valley Conference Coach of the Year.
She led the women's basketball team to capture the Missouri Valley Conference title. The team had a 15-0 record at home.
Agugua-Hamilton, aka coach Mox, took over for Kellie Harper, who was given the same award a year ago.
