MSU Career Expo seeks business participants

Posted online
Businesses looking to hire have until Feb. 2 to register for Missouri State University's Career Expo 2009.

The expo will be 1-5 p.m. Feb. 18 at University Plaza Convention Center. About 140 companies and graduate schools are expected to participate to connect with graduating students, according to an MSU news release.

Businesses can register for a booth until Feb. 2, but a late fee goes into effect after Jan. 26. Three levels of registration offer different levels of exposure. The gold level for $300 is sold out, but there's a waiting list; spots are still available at the silver level, for $225, and the bronze level, for $150.

"With the current economic condition, I believe this expo will be more important than it has been in the past," said MSU Career Center Administrative Assistant Kimberly Lucas in the release. "All the companies in attendance will have job opportunities available."
