The Missouri State University Board of Governors will vote Friday on a proposed operating budget for fiscal 2010, which starts July 1.

Revenue and expenses are budgeted to increase about 4 percent next year.

Operating revenue is budgeted at $160.7 million; nonoperating revenue is $104.9 million; operating expenditures are at $238.1 million; and nonoperating expenses are at $22.2 million, according to the resolution. The budget also includes $2.9 million in nonrecurring allocations.

No across-the-board salary increases are planned.

Also on the agenda for Friday is approval of a one-year extension of the school's agreement with legislative consultant Jerry Burch, at $78,849 per year, and approval of an employment contract for new Athletic Director Kyle Moats, whose salary would be $144,000.
