The MSU Board of Governors executive committee approved the resignation agreement with Abrahamson-Henderson that pays her $257,040, the base salary for the two years remaining on her contract. She also will be paid for any unused vacation time, unpaid travel expenses and television and radio contracts for 2006–2007, according to the agreement.

Abrahamson-Henderson did not publicize her reasons for resigning. She had been with MSU since 2002 and led the team to three NCAA tournament appearances and a National Invitation Tournament championship, according to an MSU news release.
Also Tuesday, the board approved a contract with Abrahamson-Henderson’s replacement, Nyla Milleson, who previously coached at Drury University. Milleson’s starting salary is $115,000. She also will receive $30,000 for each television and radio show, in addition to other achievement payments and regular and additional university benefits, according to a separate news release.
