The Missouri Southern State University Board of Governors is considering how best to use more than $2 million in federal aid released by Gov. Mike Parson this month.
The funds are earmarked for capital improvements and deferred maintenance projects at the Joplin college.
“We will set up a task force to determine how best to utilize those funds, to not only take care of the maintenance issue but also make some aesthetic improvements along the way," said Rob Yust, vice president for business affairs at MSSU.
