MSSU is hosting a news conference at 2 p.m. at Matthews Hall to announce the opening of the Edward Jones Investment Center on the Joplin university's campus.
Stephen Smith, MSSU news bureau manager, said he could not reveal details of the center, except to say it is a partnership with the school and will be woven into some class curriculum.
Members of the MSSU Board of Governors, administration, faculty, Missouri Southern Foundation and Edward Jones Investments will be present at the conference.
