“It is meant to be an affordable housing project here in this area,” said Rick Billington, marketing director for project developer Missouri Partners Inc.
Billington said that the property, located close to Branson Landing, will be a “place for local employees.”
The complex consists of 21 four-plex buildings for a total of 84 units. Each unit will have three bedrooms, two baths, kitchen appliances and washer and dryer hookups.
Rent will start at $650 per month, according to an MPI news release. Billington said that profits from property rentals will be donated to a yet unnamed Christian-based charity in the area.
Billington said MPI is the general contractor and architect for the apartments. “This is unique in that we are doing all the work ourselves,” he said.
Construction should be finished by spring.
