Mozilla announced plans to shutter read-it-later app Pocket on July 8.
After the announcement, Digg co-founder Kevin Rose offered to acquire Pocket.
Medium CEO Tony Stubbleine is among others who have offered to buy Pocket. However, he said he never heard from Mozilla before the Pocket closure announcement.
