Mount Vernon-based manufacturer Reyco Granning has named its first president since being bought out by MAT Capital earlier this year.
David Compton, who has worked at Auburn Hills, Mich.-based FTE Automotive USA Inc. for the past 30 years, most recently as its general manager, took the the local manufacturer's top position Dec. 12, according to Sarah Rogers, Reyco marketing specialist.
In February, Reyco Granning was purchased for an undisclosed amount by MAT Capital, an affiliate of Long Grove, Ill.-based manufacturer and supplier MAT Holdings Inc., from Burr Ridge, Ill.-based Tuthill Corp., the holding company for Springfield-based Tuthill Vacuum and Blower Systems, according to
Springfield Business Journal archives.
Rogers said Compton succeeded Interim President Ray Mueller, who stepped in following the buyout earlier this year. Mueller - who took the place of Greg Rocque - will work as senior vice president of business development.
Reyco was founded in 1924 as Reynolds Manufacturing Co. and has been designing and manufacturing suspensions systems for more than 85 years.[[In-content Ad]]
