Mother's Day spending is expected to hit a record this year, according to a survey conducted by Prosper Insights & Analytics for the National Retail Federation.
The survey estimates consumers will spend $25 billion on Mother's Day this year, up from $23.1 billion in 2018.
While 84% of U.S. adults are expected to partipate, down from 86% last year, those who are celebrating the holiday are spending more.
