Mortgage rates hit new record low

Mortgage rates dropped to a record low for the 13th time this year.

Freddie Mac reported the average for a 30-year, fixed loan decreased to 2.72% from 2.84% last week.

National Association of Realtors data show homes sale rose 4.3% in October compared with September on a seasonally adjusted rate.
