Posted online
Lewisville, Texas-based Nationstar Mortgage is laying off 115 employees in St. Louis County, citing a decline in refinancing activity.

The mortgage servicer disclosed the layoffs in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification filed with the Missouri Department of Labor. The move, which is set to take effect on April 13, is made alongside Nationstar layoffs in the Dallas region and Denver.

Earlier this month, Bank of America laid off more than 280 workers in St. Charles County prompted by refinancing declines, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
