More than 1.1M sign up for Obamacare

More than 1.1 million people enrolled in health care coverage through the federal marketplace between Oct. 1 and Dec. 24, the government announced Sunday.

CNN reports the vast majority - 975,000 - enrolled in December.

Individuals who missed last week's deadline for coverage that begins Jan. 1 can still sign up for coverage starting Feb. 1. That deadline is Jan. 15.
