'Moonlight' wins best picture Oscar after mix-up

African American coming-of-age tale "Moonlight" last night won the Oscar for best picture after a mix-up.

Presenters Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway initially announced "La La Land" had won. Beaty told both casts - who were standing on stage - he had been given the wrong envelope to open.

PricewaterhouseCoopers, which oversees the ballots, said presenters were mistakenly given the wrong category envelope. Officials with the company apologized for the mistake.
