Monsanto CEO's pay rises 7 percent

In its 2014 proxy statement, Monsanto revealed Wednesday it increased CEO Hugh Grant's pay this year by 7 percent to $13.4 million.

Earnings for the company increased 9.4 percent for the year to $2.76 billion, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.

Other officers also received pay increases.
