Monsanto agrees to $930M tech acquisition

Agriculture giant Monsanto Co. plans to acquire The Climate Corp. for about $930 million, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.

The acquisition brings to Monsanto expertise in agriculture analytics and risk management.

The Climate Corp. will continue to hold headquarters in Silicon Valley and keep on its current employees.
