The Missouri Department of Transportation is using federal grant funding to study wildlife-related road crashes.
The U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Highway Administration issued a $320,000 grant to MoDOT.
MoDOT intends to create a uniform method to integrate wildlife crossings into the pre-planning phases of future improvements, according to KOMU.
