A map at MoDOT’s Web site, www.modot.org, shows general road conditions of the state’s major highways. The map is updated every 30 minutes during storms and describes the roads as dry, wet, partly covered, covered or closed.
“The map is meant to help travelers plan ahead,” said MoDOT Director Pete Rahn in a news release.
Road updates also are available in a text version at the Web site or by calling MoDOT’s hotline at (888) ASK-MODOT.
