Missouri Department of Transportation Director Patrick McKenna is exiting after nearly nine years in the role.
McKenna did not give a date for his departure when he announced the decision at a Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission meeting this week.
“It’s been a blessing for me to be a part of this, and it’s also a good time to recognize when it’s time to move on, and that’s what I’ll be doing," McKenna said, according to the Missouri Independent. “I have some family obligations to attend to, and I feel that the department is in good hands."
