Missouri manufacturing jobs grew by 1.1 percent in August compared to the same month a year ago, according to Missourinet, which cites a Manufacturers' News report.
The national average was one-tenth of one percent.
Manufacturers’ News says Missouri has 7,876 manufacturers employing 366,877 people.
