Mo. lawmakers return to Capitol for veto session

A Republican super majority in Missouri Congress returns to the Capitol today, and history could be made by the number of Gov. Jay Nixon's vetoes members override, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.

Nixon vetoed 33 bills and 130 sections of budget this year. If the GOP overturns all of them, it would be the most in state history. Last year, the General Assembly voted to override 10 of his vetoes.

The GOP has 110 members in the House and 23 in the Senate.
