Missouri residential housing sales slipped 17 percent in February. Agents sold 3,300 homes last month, compared to 4,060 homes sold in February 2013, according to a news release from the Missouri Association of Realtors.

While sales volumes declines, Missouri's average residential property selling price rose 6 percent compared to February 2013 and 10.7 percent from February 2012. The median residential property selling price also appreciated, coming in at $119,000, an increase of 9.7 percent compared to February 2013.
According to the release, homes sat on the market fewer days last month. Residential properties averaged 133 days for sale, down 10 from 2013 and 17 days fewer than in 2012.
