Missouri real estate agents sold 4,634 homes in November at an average price of $153,179.
The numbers are a mixed bag, with homes sold down 5 percent, but the average price up 5.1 percent compared to the same month a year ago, according to the latest monthly home sales report released last week by the Missouri Association of Realtors.
Homes also sold faster in November, reflected by an 8.1 percent decrease to 124 days on the market, compared to 135 days in November 2012, according to a news release.
Overall sales volume in November was recorded at $710 million, a 0.3 percent decrease from November 2012 and a 17.9 percent increase from November 2011.
Compared to October of this year, Missouri homes sales in November dropped 12.6 percent and were sold for 2.3 percent less money, the release said.
Logistics company Premier Truck Group is building a new truck sales and repair facility in Strafford, using precast contract, metal framing, thermoplastic polyolefin roofing and standing-seam metal in its construction.
