Missouri gasoline prices averaged 20 cents per gallon less than the national average during the past week, according to a GasBuddy.com news release.
The state average fell 7.1 cents per gallon during the week to $2.67 a gallon yesterday. The national average experienced a 1.3-cent drop to $2.87 a gallon.
As of 9:40 a.m., the lowest cost per gallon in the state was $2.45 at Murphy USA in Republic. The lowest Springfield prices, at $2.61 a gallon, could be found at Murphy USA, 3516 W. Sunshine St., and Conoco, 3106 W. Battlefield Road.
Missouri prices were 4.7 cents higher than a month ago and 18.2 cents per gallon higher than the same time last year.
The national average increased 4.1 cents during the last month and rose 22.9 cents during the last year.[[In-content Ad]]
