Average Missouri gas prices rose nearly 10 cents during the past week, averaging $2.64 a gallon Oct. 10.
State average prices are 36.3 cents per gallon higher than Oct. 10, 2009, and are 4.1 cents per gallon higher than a month ago, according to a GasBuddy.com news release.
As of 9:45 a.m. Oct. 11, Sam's Club, 745 W. El Camino Alto St., was tied for lowest prices in the state at $2.51 a gallon, according to MissouriGasPrices.com, a subsidiary of GasBuddy.
Nationally, the gas average increased 7.1 cents per gallon in the past week to $2.81 a gallon, increased 8.9 cents per gallon during the last month and increased 33.3 cents per gallon in the last year, the release said.[[In-content Ad]]
