MO gas prices drop 4.6 cents per gallon

Missouri gas prices averaged $2.50 a gallon Sept. 26, marking a 4.6 cent per gallon decrease during the past week.

The current lowest gas prices in the state, $2.35 a gallon, can be found at Republic locations of Rapid Robert's - 1278 U.S. Route 60 - and Murphy USA - 1140 U.S. Route 60, according to MissouriGasPrices.com.

In comparison with national averages, Missouri gas prices sit at an average 20 cents less per gallon. The national average fell 2.3 cents per gallon during the week to $2.70 a gallon, according to a GasBuddy.com news release.

Missouri gas prices Sept. 26 were 30.9 cents per gallon higher than the same day in 2009 and 8.1 cents per gallon higher than a month ago, according to the release.[[In-content Ad]]
