M&M’s replacing cartoon candy mascots

M&M’s announced it would take “an indefinite pause” from its “spokescandies," referring to the company's cartoon character mascots.

Actress Maya Rudolph instead will serve as spokesperson.

Figures on the political right, including Tucker Carlson of Fox News, have criticized the candy as “Woke M&M’s" due to cosmetic tweaks in recent years.
