The University of Missouri’s board late last year paid a $400,000 settlement in a lawsuit accusing the school of botching a sexual misconduct investigation, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Two women accused the university of failing to properly investigate their complaints against basketball player Terrence Phillips.
Phillips, who was dismissed from the team in 2018, has been accused of allegedly stalking one woman and sexually assaulting another.
