Missouri small businesses secured $1.8 billion in loans through the second round of the Paycheck Protection Program, according to Small Business Administration data.
That's as of Friday, when 36,808 PPP loans were issued statewide.
In neighboring Illinois, 101,905 loans had been approved for almost $7 billion.
As of Friday, around $120 billion in funds remained of the $310 billion made available in round two of the PPP.
