Missouri-side suitors offered DFA $29M - but got jilted

In an attempt to retain Dairy Farmers of America Inc.'s headquarters, Missouri offered more than $19 million in incentives, and Kansas City, Mo., sources offered an additional $10 million.

But the efforts were ultimately fruitless. The Kansas City area's largest private company chose the Kansas side of the city for its new headquarters.

According to Kansas City Business Journal reporting, the Kansas Department of Commerce declined to reveal how much in incentives the state offered DFA for its new HQ and 325 jobs.
