Missouri Senate budget writers are moving to restore full raises for state workers.
The Senate Appropriations Committee endorsed a plan to boost salaries by 5.5% and increase hourly wages to at least $15. It now heads to the full Senate.
The House version targeted raises for direct care positions instead of the full increases requested by Gov. Mike Parson.
