On back-to-back days over the weekend, Missouri reported new single-day increases in COVID-19 cases.
Yesterday, health officials announced 413 new cases, beating Saturday's record high of 389 new virus cases.
The new cases sent the state's total past 18,000.
The majority of the new cases came from southwest Missouri, including Jasper and Taney counties.
