Posted online
Missouri has been selected to receive a $17.5 million federal grant to help first responders improve their coordination and communication systems.

The funding will allow state and local agencies to hire, deploy and train responders in systems that use voice, data and video signals.

The grant is awarded from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration in consultation with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
