The Missouri Realtors association is honoring two Springfield-area real estate agents for industry achievements.

Brent Sager, of Hollister, and Deana Wolfe, of Galena, were selected for the annual Elizabeth J. Mendenhall E3 Award and the Bruce Aydt Code of Ethics Leadership Award, respectively, according to a news release. The awards were presented Sept. 21 during Missouri Realtors' fall business conference.

Sager is a real estate broker serving the Branson area with Gerken & Associates Inc., according to his website.

His award, named after past Missouri Realtors President Elizabeth J. Mendenhall, recognizes real estate agents for energy, empowerment and experience. Sager has been a Tri-Lakes Board of Realtors Rookie of the Year and Realtor of the Year, according to the release.

"On a regular basis, Sager visits local high schools and colleges to speak with students about what it means to be and how to become a Realtor, in addition to the importance of homeownership," officials said in the release.

With ReeceNichols Real Estate, Wolfe conducts business in southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas, according to her Facebook page.

The Missouri Realtors award she received recognizes her for being "a role model in professionalism while engaging in activities such as offering advice and counsel on the code of ethics," officials said in the release.

Wolfe has worked as a real estate agent for more than 33 years.
