The Missouri Press Association, which represents over 200 member newspapers in the state, has appointed Chad Stebbins as executive director.
Stebbins starts Jan. 6 next year, when he'll succeed the retiring Mark Maassen.
Stebbins is a professor of communications at Missouri Southern State University. He's served as executive director of the International Society of Weekly Newspaper Editors since 1999.
