The Missouri House of Representatives on Wednesday gave preliminary approval to a plan that would make daylight saving time the year-round standard time.
It would eliminate the need for the time to change twice per year.
The move requires the federal government and other states to get on board. There have been 23 states that have passed similar legislation, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
