Missouri man pleads guilty to taking contracts meant for minorities, vets

A man from the Missouri city of Parkville pleaded guilty to his role in a conspiracy to defraud the federal government of $335 million.

Former construction manager Patrick Dingle, 50, admitted to engaging in the scheme to take contract work that was meant for firms owned by minorities and veterans, prosecutors said.

Dingle previously worked for North Kansas City-based Zieson Construction Co.
