Gov. Mike Parson’s administration penned a contract with a newly formed organization that's aiming to boost vaccination rates in the state.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports the state reached a $2.5 million contract with the Missouri Immunization Coalition.
“The purpose of the Missouri Immunization Coalition is to improve the health of Missourians by reducing the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases, focusing on COVID-19, through immunization education, advocacy, promotion and statewide partnerships,” the contract reads.
