Missouri gas prices continue slow decline

Average retail prices for a gallon of unleaded gasoline continued their slow drop in Missouri last week, according to information from

Statewide, gas prices fell 1 cent per gallon in the last week, to an average of $2.74 per gallon, the site reported Monday. National prices fell 3.5 cents per gallon for the same period, to $2.87 per gallon.

Overall, state prices are up 57.4 cents compared to the same date a year ago and down 4.1 cents over the last month. The national average is up 0.4 cents in the last month and 58.4 cents in the last year.
