Average retail prices for a gallon of unleaded gasoline continued their slow drop in Missouri last week, according to information from MissouriGasPrices.com.
Statewide, gas prices fell 1 cent per gallon in the last week, to an average of $2.74 per gallon, the site reported Monday. National prices fell 3.5 cents per gallon for the same period, to $2.87 per gallon.
Overall, state prices are up 57.4 cents compared to the same date a year ago and down 4.1 cents over the last month. The national average is up 0.4 cents in the last month and 58.4 cents in the last year.
In Springfield, gas prices range from $2.57 to $2.59, according to driver reports to MissouriGasPrices.com. Those prices are down 4 cents from the same time a week ago.
