Missouri Enterprise appoints SWMO business manager

Posted online
St. Louis-based manufacturing consulting group Missouri Enterprise has appointed Jeff Lambeth as southwest Missouri business manager.

The nonprofit company hasn't had an area representative in three years, said Harold Zinn, vice president of corporate communications for the the group, which works with small- to medium-sized businesses.

"Our primary function is to have boots on the ground working with the companies," Zinn said.

Lambeth will provide business and technical assistance to Missouri Enterprise's represented businesses in southwest Missouri.

Lambeth has more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing management - most recently with Springfield ReManufacturing Corp. as the sales and marketing manager, where Lambeth said he worked 13 years off and on.

He said his first day as the southwest Missouri business manager was Sept. 20, and he is excited to provide services to the nearly 1,500 companies under his service area, which comprises the area as far southeast as Gainesville, as far west as the Oklahoma border and as far north as Nevada.

"My experience will really help these companies be successful in whatever areas they need help in," Lambeth said.

Lambeth will be tasked with re-introducing Missouri Enterprise into the southwest Missouri manufacturing community and helping businesses grow and prepare for next-generation challenges, Zinn said, noting the significance of the "manufacturing cluster" in the area.

Lambeth has set up shop in Missouri Enterprise's Springfield office located in Plaza Towers, 1736 E. Sunshine St.

Missouri Enterprise has lately participated in Buy American, a program that helps companies receive grants from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, according to Springfield Business Journal coverage.
