Two Missouri credit unions are set to combine in a deal that would create an organization with nearly $700 million in combined assets.
O'Fallon-based West Community Credit Union and St. Louis-based Gateway Metro FCU expect to finalize the merger in the second quarter of 2026.
“This is not about one credit union absorbing another,” said Jason Peach, president and CEO of West Community Credit Union. “It’s about two successful credit unions coming together to build something stronger and greater."
