Missouri health officials on Wednesday announced the state's coronavirus cases totaled 356, a jump of 101 in a day.
Eight people had died as of yesterday, with the youngest being a 31-year-old Red Cross employee in St. Louis. Three women who lived at an assisted living center in Springfield also have died from COVID-19.
Missouri Public Safety Director Sandy Karsten said Gov. Mike Parson placed another $11 million from areas elsewhere in the state budget to buy more personal protective equipment, such as masks.
