Missouri House and Senate budget leaders have agreed on providing more funding for public K-12 schools.
House Budget Committee Chairman Scott Fitzpatrick, R-Shell Knob, said he and his Senate counterpart agreed on a plan to provide nearly $99 million more in funding.
Legislative negotiators must sign off on the plan, which then would need another vote from the full General Assembly.
