Missouri reported a record 936 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Tuesday.
That marked the third daily record in eight days, following the previous high of 795 cases set Thursday. Many of the new cases are around the St. Louis, Kansas City and southwest Missouri areas.
Statewide, there have been more than 28,800 positive COVID-19 cases during the pandemic.
